WHAT HAPPENED?
Chelsea have confirmed that the former Borussia Dortmund winger has selected the number 11 jersey ahead of potentially playing for the Blues for the first time as Enzo Maresca's side prepares to face Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan this weekend.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The 20-year-old is taking on a jersey that has been worn by Chelsea legends such as Dennis Wise and Didier Drogba. If the England Under-21 international can forge a career anything like those two, he will have proven to be an excellent signing.
